I knew this had to be some rockstar even before I read the title. Great job on detailing. His left hand needs a bit of work, but all in all this is really good.

Oh WOW! That's BRILLIANT!! Axl Rose rocks, and NO ONE should forget it!! EVER! This is a FANTASTIC drawing, but... he IS still a rockstar! Apparantly Chinese Democracy is being released soon, so hopefully I'll get to hear what he's been doing all these years! Anehhoo! I him!
You did great on his tattoos and hair, and you got his face to look right! Not a lot of people can draw his face right for some reason, but you did great! Well done!

ah thanks chicka for the comment - i'm glad you like this, but ... and believe me i was a huge axl fan back then ... chinese democracy will never ever see the light of day - poor axl was loopy back then and by all accounts he's even worse now
...
and as for velvet revolver - a muso friend of mine has told me their cd isnt nearly as good as you'd expect for musicians of their calibar - but i'll hand on to my final judgement till i hear some
...

Thankyou for da lovely comments Zenyth!! And yesh Axl was loopy, and still is, but I don't think that he's not ever gunna release Chinese Democracy. Sure, it may not be soon, but if he's written and recorded THAT many songs, then I don't think he'll wanna waste all the time its taken to do that. Even if he is loopy. At least he's not the stupid kind of loopy. If he was, he wouldn't have made so many fans. And boy did he have an EXCELLENT dress sense! I've been wearing bandanas constantly for a year now! Its great! (I couldn't before seeing as my hair was... not right, now it is!) Anehhoo! Yer comment about Velvet Revolver is right. I have the album, and I expected it to be MUCH better. I was REALLY disappointed. I suppose Slash himself didn't appreciate the EXCELLENT guitar solos he conjured up in Guns N' Roses because the ones in VR are just... too short, not enough of them, and utter shit compared to what he used to do. And Scott Weiland, although excellent in Stone Temple Pilots, is now trying to be Axl, and that's just WRONG! He has 3 Gn'R bandmembers, and he's the frontman. Supposedly, they tried to get Izzy Stradlin to be rhythm guitar, but they had to settle for Dave Kushner, who looks SO out of place its unreal. He looks like he should be in a band like 36 Crazyfists, not a crappy modern interpretation of a mixture between STP and Gn'R!
Hehehe, I had the best time just now on my way back from college. I was blaring out Use Your Illusion 2 all the way back, the volume up WAAAAAY loud, and the windows all open! Yep, I know its November, but hey! I wasn't cold, and it was fun! headbang:
